Nothing

I honestly can't think of a thing to write about. Perhaps it's cause school started, but I really haven't thought about anything of significance for a couple weeks. I guess school's doing its job and crushing my soul like it's supposed to... Anyway, I don't want to let my readers down, though I'm not quite sure what NOT letting them down entails yet. I'll get back to you when I figure that out. In the meantime, please accept this unfinished song I wrote a while back about nothing in place of an actual post:
Got Nothin'

If I could write a song right now about a bird, a tree, the sky, I'd do it

Unfortunately all my inspiration's fled, I lost my chance, I blew it.

So what do I do now?

This song is about how...

I got nothin'

No words to fill this empty page

the blinking cursor on my screen is taunting, daring,

every teasing flash declaring the simple glaring fact

that I got nothin'

The words and meanings bounce around

out of my reach, but still inside my head, colliding,

fighting me, inciting my admission of the fact

that I got nothin'

You are cool Flay. :) This is excellent, as always. Your word verification is Sadmio.

Somethin' about nothin' worked for Seinfeld for years.

I don't really have a comment (I liked the song, but I am bad about making up my own melodies to read songs to). But I felt I need to write a comment simply to use the word verification, which is "suplensi." If this is not an actual word, it should be. Also, I'm pretty sure your word verification is much better at making up words than any other I've ever seen.

It does have a melody, I just felt weird putting up my own unaccompanied voice on my blog, so I just did the lyrics. Perhaps some day I shall finish it...

Also, I love word verifications. I don't know where my life would be without the random made-up words they generate :D

You should talk about how awesome I am... and about you and your unicorn, Sir Sprinkles Honeyshmooples Sparlemire the third. That'll be good for readers :) to know how awesome you are on your mission to Mars with the Unicorn Corps :D

Ah, but is Sir Sprinkles Honeyshmooples Sparlemire III a ROBOT unicorn? Robot unicorns instantly make everything all better. Turmoil in the Middle East? Oil still in the Gulf of Mexico? Economy remains unfixed? Just sing it with me and everything will be fine:

"Always, I want to be with you
And make believe with you
And live in harmony,
Harmony, oh love!"

It also fixes any and all conflict between people, including roommate fights.

I should never be allowed to be on the internet (specifically Know Your Meme and other silly sites) at 2 in the morning. Ever. This is what happens.

(For those who don't know, the song is "Always" by Erasure and is used in Adult Swim's game Robot Unicorn Attack and it became a meme early this year. Read about it, and see many pictures and such relating to it, by searching "robot unicorn attack" at knowyourmeme.com. I believe the official title on the site is HARMONY HARMONY.)
