The one that was about bananas... and pajamas... and bears?
Yeah... uh... Whose idea was that? Who stood up during a brainstorming session at the production studio and said "Okay, you guys.... How bout this? Bananas... but, like wearing pajamas... We'll call it Bananas in Pajamas." And then, after that, who was the studio head that said "GENIUS! Bananas in Pajamas? It'll be a classic! We'll make millions! Get some writers on this immediately!" ?

We had the bananas and the bears, little plastic toys. And they were favorites of one Jessica Grosland, who can probably still sing the song for you.
I miss those little bananas. Apparently the creators did something right. We're still talking about it.

I LOVED Bananas in Pajamas, as my mother has already informed you. Looking back on it, I can see that it's weird, but I still love it.
The weirdest thing to me, though, is why they decided to pair up bananas with bears? I mean, teddy bears and bananas? Who saw a connection there?

I don't remember anything about the show except the beginning of the song. And it still pops into my head every time someone mentions bananas. Not even kidding.

For the record, I don't remember whether or not I liked this show, only the theme song. It just struck me as odd that I'd never actually thought about the premise.
